Every November of the year is the National Children’s Month Celebration with this year’s theme:”Sama-samang Itaguyod ang Karapatan ng Bawat Bata sa Panahon ng Pandemya”.
This year’s 28th National Children’s Month of Police Regional Office 7 under the helm of PBGEN ALBERT IGNATIUS FERRO, PRO7 Regional Director culminated with an outreach program on Thursday morning, November 26 at the Everlasting Hope Foundation located at Topaz Street, Francesca Village, Brgy. Guadalupe, Cebu City,
Joining the activity were Mrs. Flossie Mae Ferro and the PRO7 Officers Ladies Club with the personnel of the Family Juvenile and Gender Sensitivity Section, Regional Community Affairs Development Division, Regional Finance Service Office 7 and the staff of the Everlasting Hope Foundation.
The children were entertained by TEAM PRO7 Dancers with the rendition of the VOLTES V and I Love Cebu dance.
After which, the gift giving and Grant A Wish followed with Mrs. Mae Ferro and the PRO7 Officers Ladies Club handing over of gifts to the children. The gifts were part of the Grant A Wish Program, wherein kids were made to put into list their wish for their birthday, to be granted by TEAM PRO7 AMIGO COPS.
PCOL RENATO DUGAN (Ret), former Chief, RCADD7 gave his testimony as a cancer survivor himself to encourage the parents to remain steadfast with their faith to the Almighty God amidst the challenges that they are facing.
The Everlasting HOPE Center for Children with Cancer supports children and their families through providing advocacy and referrals, medical resources, temporary shelter, home and emotional and spiritual care.
