The South Korean government donated 25 patrol vehicles on Monday, October 15, 2018, to the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7. A total of 22 Hyundai patrol cars and three Starex vans were ceremonially parked in front of the PRO7’s Parade at Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr. during PRO7’s Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony in Cebu City.
The turnover was witnessed by CONSUL OH SUNG YONG, South Korean Consulate General in Cebu and Regional Director of Police Regional Office7 PCSUPT DEBOLD M SINAS, PRO7 Command Group. Regional Pastoral Officer PSUPT Reynaldo Piañar officiated the turn-over ceremony. In attendance were Hon. Paz Radaza, Mr. Prudencio Gesta Chairman, RACTPD, Mr Alfredo Tan, Member Advisory Council Cebu City and City Directors of Mandate City and Cebu City Police Office. 

Police stations, with established Korean communities, covering the areas of Mandate City Police Office, Lapulapu City Police Office and Tourist Police Unit, and Cebu City Police Office will receive the new patrol vehicles..
In addition, the Korean National Police Agency and the Consulate Korean General in Cebu presented plaques of recognition to the Regional Director, PCSUPT DEBOLD SINAS and Cebu City Director PSSUPT ROYINA GARMA for their unwavering commitment and ceaseless efforts to establish crime prevention and criminal justice. Certificates of appreciation were also presented to PCINSP DINDO ALARAS, Station 4 Commander, and his policemen for solving the case of a murdered Korean national.
